God unites us to Himself through the Sacraments, and the "Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults" include preparatory rituals and the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. God does not overpower us but respects our free choices. RCIA programs allow you to walk with Catholics and decide whether or not you want to say yes to God through the Church and allow God to relate to you through the Catholic Church. What does all of this mean? That's why "RCIA" includes classes!
Classes at St. Luke are on Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm.

"Catholicism for Dummies" is one of the best first introduction to the Catholic Faith. The "Dummies" series is well-edited, and "Catholicism for Dummies" is written by well-educated priests, has been reviewed and received a "nihil obstat", and approved for printing with an "imprimatur". A key advantage to "Dummies" books is that each chapter can be understood on its own -- this makes them unique introductions to the subject.
Peter Kreeft's "Catholic Christianity" is another fine Catechism.
